Why is my profile blocked or hidden?

Our terms and conditions explain exactly what is and is not allowed on Popcorn. If you violate our rules, your profile may be blocked for a certain period of time or until the violation has been corrected.  

Here is a list of the most common reasons for blocking, how long your profile will be blocked and what you can do:

## Cheaters

Cheaters don't stand a chance in our community. We work hard with our system to detect these types of profiles and block them permanently. Please let us know if you come across a scammer profile or if you yourself are mistaken for a scammer. We will then look at the case in detail.

## Duplicate profiles

Having more than one profile is against our guidelines. All profiles will remain blocked until you send an email to our support team and let us know which profile we should reactivate.

## Fake profiles & fake pictures

All fakes will remain blocked until they have been checked by the support team.

## Financial interests

Profiles with financial interests will be blocked immediately on Popcorn.

## Financial dominance

An interest in Findom, Pay Pigs, Sugar Baby/Sugar Daddy or Sugar Mommy relationships will result in the profile being permanently blocked.

## Advertising & Spam

If it is suspected that Popcorn is being used to send spam messages or any form of advertising, these profiles will be permanently blocked. This also includes the publication of your social media handle, external links (e.g. OnlyFans), etc.

## Suspicion of being underage

If there is a suspicion that you are a minor, your profile will be blocked until you have sent Support proof that you are of legal age.

## Insults

If you insult others or violate the terms and conditions in any other way, you will be warned. The sanction triggered by warnings depends on the severity of the offense and the number of warning points you have “accumulated” so far.  The more warning points you have, the more severe the sanction. These range from short, temporary profile bans to longer, temporary profile bans and an additional withdrawal of letters and - if you reach or exceed 15 warning points - a permanent profile ban.
